just for fun: a 45-min zine making session
fresh off the press of my imagination! I virtually attended an AAPI zine workshop one night in July 2020 and came out of it with a zine page and so much inspiration. I made this in 45 minutes and I’m really happy with how it turned out! I’ve recently been getting more into creative graphic design and typography lately ✂️
prompt: community, healing, post-COVID, solidarity between Asian and Black communities
inspo/motifs: botanical growth, stream of consciousness, undocu+ folx, LGBTQ+ pride, music as solace and respite
I invite you to examine this zine page and ask yourself: what do you think of when you see this?
update: the collective zine is here! made with love from a compilation of the works created from the workshop ♡
